About the Sweet PEA Study
Expecting a sweet new addition to your life? The Sweet PEA Study, a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Research Study, aims to understand how diet affects infant growth and development. The Sweet PEA Study is looking for pregnant women who have not taken their gestational diabetes test yet. For participation, we offer $50 for each of the 2 phone calls and $100 for each of the 3 in-person visit at CHLA for a total of $400. Each visit is expected to last 1 to 3 hours. As we know new moms are very busy we also provide transportation to participants in the Los Angeles area or parking validation. The Sweet PEA Study’s Principal Investigator is Dr. Michael Goran. Please visit sweetpeastudy.com or contact the study coordinator at (323) 203-5461 to learn more! Participating in this research study is voluntary.
